Podgorica, June 11, 2026 – The third edition of the event LinkUp – Where Ideas Meet Opportunities was held at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro. This joint initiative of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, the Innovation Fund of Montenegro, and the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro aims to connect the business community, startup ecosystem, and support institutions by presenting current opportunities for financing, development, and networking.
The event brought together representatives of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), startups, financial institutions, and organizations that support innovation and business development.
As part of the program, the Go Digital and Go Green initiatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) were presented. These programs are designed to enhance business digitalization and encourage green investments in the private sector. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the conditions for accessing available grants and credit lines that contribute to increasing business competitiveness.
Support programs for small and medium-sized enterprises offered by Alter Modus and Hipotekarna Banka were also presented, with a particular focus on financial instruments available to businesses for improving operations, investments, and further growth.
Special attention was dedicated to the opportunities provided by the European Innovation Council (EIC), one of Europe’s most significant support mechanisms for innovative companies and startups with the potential for international growth and the commercialization of innovative solutions.
A representative of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro presented the services and support programs available to companies, with particular emphasis on business internationalization opportunities, including connections with international partners, participation in business missions, trade fairs, and B2B meetings through the networks and projects in which the Chamber is involved.
In addition, a wide range of educational activities, professional training programs, seminars, and capacity-building initiatives available to Montenegrin businesses were presented, all aimed at enhancing knowledge, skills, and competitiveness in both domestic and international markets.
A representative of the Innovation Fund of Montenegro presented current public calls and support programs intended for innovative enterprises, startups, and organizations developing new products, services, and technologies, as well as opportunities for financing projects with high development potential.
Through presentations and the networking segment of the event, participants had the opportunity to obtain first-hand information from institutional representatives, ask questions, and establish contacts that may contribute to the implementation of new business and innovation initiatives.
LinkUp continues to evolve as a platform that connects key stakeholders within Montenegro’s innovation and business ecosystem, creating space for knowledge exchange, the presentation of opportunities, and stronger cooperation between the business sector, financial institutions, and support organizations.
The organizers invited interested companies, entrepreneurs, and startups to follow future editions of LinkUp and take advantage of the opportunity to access information in one place about available funding sources, support programs, educational opportunities, and possibilities for business development and expansion into new markets.
The next LinkUp event will take place on July 8 at 6:00 PM at the premises of the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (NTP CG).
