The Kick-off Meeting of the NET4GREEN project (Cross-border Innovation Ecosystem to increase the eco-entrepreneurial skills of youth and women) was held on September 15th in Tirana, at the conference room of the impressive “Pyramid” structure.
The project aims to increase the eco-entrepreneurial skills of young people and women in Italy, Albania, and Montenegro by improving the quality of services provided by private and public organizations and strengthening the cross-border innovation ecosystem.
The meeting, attended by all partners (CIHEAM, Puglia Region, Startup Albania, Sviluppo Italia Molise, the Innovation Fund of Montenegro and the University of Agriculture of Tirana), provided a detailed overview of the project’s objectives and work plan.
The participation of the Albanian (Startup Albania) and Montenegrin (Innovation Fund of Montenegro) partners, who organized the Study Visits to the area, was particularly important. These visits, realized in Tirana (Albania) and Podgorica (Montenegro), provided direct contact with various local contexts and the opportunity to interact with qualified stakeholders from the economic, business, and academic systems. The study visit to Podgorica was organized on September 17, 2025, in the organization of the Innovation Fund of Montenegro. The partners had the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro and meet the most promising Montenegrin startup companies. During the study visit, the Executive Director of the Innovation Fund of Montenegro, Dr. Bojana Femić-Radosavović, and the Executive Director of the Science and Technology Park, Vanja Radulović, introduced the participants with role and activities of these organizations in Innovation ecosystem of Montenegro.
