The Innovation Fund of Montenegro is a partner in the new Interreg project ROBONETCBC (Developing an innovation network for the uptake of solutions in robotics and sensors to improve monitoring and prevention of pollution in freshwater and marine ecosystems). The kick-off meeting of project partners and the stakeholder conference were held on November 7–8, 2024, in Šibenik, Croatia.
The project is coordinated by the University of Zadar, with other project partners including Šibenik-Knin County, the Ruđer Bošković Institute, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor – University of Montenegro, and the Innovation Fund of Montenegro.
The goal of the ROBONETCBC project is to enhance and promote the application of innovative blue technologies for sustainable management of marine and freshwater ecosystems and to stimulate investment in the blue economy in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
The project is being implemented from October 1, 2024, to March 31, 2027, with a total value of €1,216,654.72. It is funded under the Interreg IPA Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2021–2027 program.
