The Innovation Fund of Montenegro Announces a Public Call for the Selection of an Environmental and Social Expert
The Innovation Fund of Montenegro has established the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF), which defines the environmental and social procedures that all implemented projects must comply with, in line with Montenegro’s national legislation.
The purpose of the ESMF is to define the Fund’s policies and processes, as well as the obligations of programme beneficiaries (implemented projects), related to the assessment and categorisation of proposed activities according to their potential environmental and social impact, risk mitigation, and monitoring activities to be undertaken by the Fund, where and when necessary.
In order to ensure that projects are environmentally and socially sustainable (taking into account corporate environmental and social responsibility elements), and to implement procedures for environmental assessment and monitoring, the Fund will engage an external Environmental and Social Expert.
The aim of this engagement is to provide expert support to the Innovation Fund in identifying, classifying, and assessing the environmental risks of project proposals submitted for funding, for which the preparation of an environmental and social impact assessment (ESMF) is foreseen during 2025.
Interested candidates for the Public Call for the selection of an Environmental and Social Expert should submit a motivation letter and CV by 20 June 2025 to info@fondzainovacije.me, with the subject line:
“Expression of Interest for External Environmental and Social Expert of the Innovation Fund”.
