The Public Call was open from 23 April to 3 June 2025.
A total of 111 applications were received, of which 92 proceeded to international evaluation following the administrative check.
The expert committee, composed of three international experts, selected 30 teams for the second phase, during which participants had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas in person.
Based on the committee’s final assessment, 13 projects were recommended for funding. One team subsequently withdrew from the project, resulting in 12 signed contracts with a total value of EUR 390,789.40. The total budget of the Public Call amounted to EUR 400,000.00.
The Fund’s programme provides grants of up to EUR 30,000.00 per project, with the Fund covering up to 90% of the total budget, while the remaining 10% is provided by the applicants. In addition, beneficiaries receive an additional EUR 5,000.00 for mentoring support.
Grant beneficiaries have six months to implement their project activities. During this period, assigned mentors provide support focused on market orientation, increasing technological readiness through the development of a prototype, MVP or pilot product, as well as developing a sustainable business model. Mentoring support also includes preparation for subsequent fundraising stages.
