Results of the 2024 Public Call for Support to Early-Stage Startup Development
The Public Call was open from 29 May to 8 July 2024. A total of 98 applications were received, of which 92 proceeded to international evaluation following the administrative check.
 
The expert committee, composed of three international experts, selected 25 teams for the second phase. During this phase, participants had the opportunity to present their ideas in person.Based on the committee’s assessment, 12 projects with a total value of EUR 388,573.14 were recommended for funding.
 
The budget of the Public Call amounted to EUR 350,000.00, which enabled the funding of 10 projects. Two additional projects were supported through the reallocation of unused funds.The Fund’s programme provides grants of up to EUR 30,000.00 per project, covering up to 90% of the total budget.
 
The remaining 10% is provided by the applicants. In addition, beneficiaries receive an additional EUR 5,000.00 for mentoring support.
Grant beneficiaries have six months to implement their project activities. During this period, assigned mentors provide support focused on market orientation, increasing technological readiness through the development of a prototype, MVP or pilot product, as well as developing a sustainable business model. Mentoring support also includes preparation for subsequent fundraising stages.
