Within the framework of the official visit of the World Bank to Montenegro, organized through the Building an Effective Sustainable and Transformational Public Sector (BEST) program, representatives of the World Bank visited the Innovation Fund of Montenegro on March 4, 2026.
During the meeting with the Fund’s management, discussions focused on the progress of the innovation agenda in Montenegro, with particular emphasis on institutional capacities, coordination mechanisms within the innovation ecosystem, and opportunities for its further development.
As part of the visit, the Innovation Fund hosted a roundtable discussion with representatives of companies that are beneficiaries of the Fund’s support programs. The aim of this meeting was to exchange experiences and discuss the needs and challenges faced by innovative companies, as well as to identify opportunities for providing additional support in the period ahead.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the World Bank, the Innovation Fund of Montenegro, as well as representatives of companies supported through the Fund’s programs, who shared their experiences in developing innovative solutions and implementing projects financed by the Fund.
The Innovation Fund of Montenegro thanks the representatives of the World Bank and the participants of the roundtable for the constructive discussion and the exchange of valuable insights that will contribute to further strengthening of Montenegro’s innovation ecosystem.
