The Innovation Fund of Montenegro announces the list of approved projects under the Public Call for Collaborative Grants for Innovation.
The Public Call for Collaborative Grants was open from May 29 to September 2, 2024, with a total budget of €1,000,000 allocated to support innovative projects.
A total of 32 applications were received, out of which 28 were forwarded for international evaluation following administrative checks. The evaluation process was conducted in two phases. In the first phase, each project proposal was assessed by two evaluators from the Fund’s evaluator database, specializing in the relevant technological field. Upon completion of this phase, 21 projects met the eligibility criteria and advanced to the second round of evaluation. In the second phase, project teams had the opportunity to present their ideas in person and answer questions posed by a three-member panel of international experts. After completing both phases, the scores were consolidated, and the expert panel recommended six projects for grant approval.
In accordance with the Fund’s procedures, the final funding decision was made based on the proposed ranking list and following budget negotiations, ensuring all administrative requirements for contract signing were met.
Under the Public Call conditions, individual grant values ranged from €50,000 to €200,000, allowing the Fund to finance six top-rated projects, with a total awarded amount of €941,111.61.
