The Innovation Fund of Montenegro has become a partner with Founder Institute Serbia, which is a branch of the largest pre-acceleration program at the global level, Founder Institute (FI). FI was founded in Palo Alto, California in 2009. Although located in Silicon Valley, FI has branches in over 180 cities and more than 65 countries. FI offers a four-month program for new entrepreneurs and early-stage entrepreneurs, helping them develop their business ideas and form a company. Among the key requirements for “graduation” is the creation of a fully operational company by the end of the four-month program. As of 2018, over 3,500 companies have exited the program and have raised over $800 million in total.
The Fund’s partnership with Founder Institute Serbia will enable participants from Montenegro to become part of the world’s largest startup community, and it guarantees the support of renowned mentors and entrepreneurs from around the world.
